Home Alone First Week

My owner told me on the weekend that vacation was over and they would have to go back to work. I didn’t understand until Monday we woke up earlier than usual. We went out, I did my business. We came back in and we ate breakfast. Then my owner went back into bedroom. They were getting ready for work. Moments later my owner was ready to go. I was taken back outside one more time. Then my owner got my water bowl, placed it in cage. Then I was coaxed inside. I reluctantly went in and my owner closed the door. I was now locked in a cage. My owner said good-bye and left for work. Well, I didn’t really like being locked in cage. I had a blanket and water but felt closed in. I laid down to rest but it was too much. No one was in the home. I felt bored. I just had one toy but you could not just have fun when you locked in a cage. How, long will my owner be gone. Minutes turned to hours. I curled up for awhile to sleep. I woke and decided enough was a enough. I test the cage for weak spots. There had to be a way to get out. What was under blanket, it seem to move. It was a tray. I started trying to push at it to make it move out. After awhile it did and I moved tray out. Carpet under paws much better. I tried to unhook cage but no such luck. Then what seem like eternity, I heard door open and my owner came back home. Yeah, I was so happy. My owner took a look at what I did and shook their head. I was not one who would enjoy the cage. My owner tried have me in cage but by end of week it was good-bye cage. One of my attempts was somewhat a success since I got one of the cage sides to come down. I think I tried to squeeze through but couldn’t break free. My owner gave up and started making the bedroom dog proof. I was still not trusted to full house when owner was gone. So, next time I will talk about being in the bedroom.
